Our storytellers
Rey Howard
Creative Director. Rey spent many years working on a contract basis with a lot of big advertising agencies that you’ve probably heard of (Saatchi, DMB&B, Bozell, Foote Cone & Belding…), developing along the way both an eye for the creative genius that surrounded him and a distaste for the client manipulation that unfortunately also surrounded him. Since founding Octav, Rey has made it a priority to focus on the genius and leave the manipulation behind — which he’s achieved with an impressive roster of largely entertainment events and clients (the Academy Awards, Paramount, Warner Bros., HBO, ABC, CBS, NBC, Atlantic Records, Sony Music…). Rey is also an optioned screenwriter, represented by UTA (one of Hollywood’s “Big Three” agencies).

Stuart Lyne
Technical Director. It used to be true that there could be no story in the absence of sound and paper. Now it’s true that there can be no story in the absence of electronic media. Stuart has been with Octav since its early days, and is “the wizard behind the curtain” for many of the narrowcast electronic systems through which Octav’s client’s stories have been told — including such iconic signage as the Kodak Theatre, Hollywood & Highland, and Tower Records Sunset Strip jumbotrons.
