If you’re familiar with our work here at the aud agency (or with our web site), you already know that honoring your audience isn’t job one for us; it’s Job Only.  That shouldn’t be such an unusual thing.  But trust us on this one:  Among advertising agencies, it’s rarer than creative directors who fly coach.

Notes are our way of making a difference beyond our circle of clients — by calling attention to examples of harmful practices in the industry.  What we write about may be audience manipulation, or it may be deceptive spin, or it may simply be clunky design or copy.  In every case, our objective will be to increase your awareness of advertising’s authentic best practices, by breaking down examples of bad ones.
